Smart infrastructure & IoT
Sensors, cameras, and device networks that turn the physical world into signal.
Headquartered in Makkah · Operating internationally
Rizoma builds the connected technology layer for cities, ports, airports, industrial zones and critical infrastructure, in Saudi Arabia and around the world, then turns its data into intelligence leaders, operators and systems can act on.
What we do
Most organisations already own the signals. We connect them, govern them and make them mean something, one layer at a time, wherever in the world you operate.
Sensors, cameras, and device networks that turn the physical world into signal.
Connecting systems that were never designed to speak to each other into one view.
The trustworthy, governed data foundation everything else is built on.
Detection, prediction, and prioritisation, grounded in real operations, not demos.
Live spatial context that maps assets, zones, incidents, and status to the real world.
Alerts, escalation, and coordinated response that close the loop from signal to action.
Flagship platform
Detects incidents, understands context, and coordinates response through a digital-twin-enabled operational picture for operators, supervisors and executives, from a single district to a national programme.

AI video analysis detecting events, risks, and operational anomalies.
Environmental, utility, asset, and safety-related data inputs.
A contextual model mapping assets, zones, incidents, and status.
Rules and models that classify events and prioritise severity.
Integration with utilities, alerts, and escalation paths.
Views for operators, supervisors, executives, and stakeholders.

Control rooms
We design, build and equip control rooms and command centres: the physical room, the video wall, the operator consoles, and the intelligence that runs across them. One environment where executives, supervisors and field teams see the same live picture and act on it.

Platform engineering
Beyond our own products, Rizoma works as a dedicated engineering team for organisations that need a platform designed, taken to production and kept running. We own the roadmap with you, ship in short cycles, operate what we build, and hand over clean code and documentation, never a black box.

ExploreBlockchain
Rizoma's founder and CEO is a published author on blockchain, with extensive hands-on experience in distributed-ledger systems. We bring that depth to projects where shared, tamper-evident data is the difference between a dashboard and a decision you can defend.

Our view
Blockchain is not a product. It is a way of agreeing on the truth between parties that do not fully trust each other. Cities, utilities and supply chains are full of exactly those parties.
Where a ledger genuinely adds value, and where it does not. Use-case selection, network design, governance and consensus models.
Private and consortium chains for ministries, authorities, and industry groups that need shared, tamper-evident records.
Multi-party workflows such as permits, settlements and approvals, executed as code, with auditability built in.
Anchoring sensor events, alerts and inspections to an immutable ledger, so the operational record can be trusted.
Verifiable credentials for people, assets and organisations across agencies and borders.
Representing real-world assets, rights and records on-chain, within the applicable regulatory framework.
Our approach
A focused proof of concept first, then expansion into a platform and a transformation programme.
Stakeholder interviews, systems and data inventory, use-case prioritisation.
Reference architecture, data flow, digital-twin scope, dashboard and AI requirements.
Systems connectivity, data normalisation, and security-aware implementation.
AI model configuration, rules and escalation logic, operational insight design.
Performance monitoring, KPI reporting and tuning, and the expansion roadmap.
Company
Rizoma was established in 2022 in Makkah and today delivers for cities, zones and institutions across Saudi Arabia, the Gulf and international markets. The name is the rhizome: connected roots beneath intelligent systems, wherever they grow.
